@Ian: Happy to send one your way, but after checking, I don't think they gave me any invites. Must still be in private beta. If they go into public beta and I get some invites, I'll send you one.

Speaking of Orgoo... what's the likelihood of you parting with one of those invites? If you have one I'd really appreciate it, thanks a million!

@Venkataramanan S: I wouldn't know how to begin calculating that even for a small population like Mix. Do you know of any existing packages we could use as a starting point?

You don't have large data, but how about doing something like Six Degrees of Separation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_degrees_of_separation)

@Shishir: Demographic data will be in the web analytics package. I'll check the db tables, too, but I don't think we store any country info.

I'll see if I can hack out the other metrics you mention.

- How about some demographic data ? (not sure if location information is available in mix db..)

- No. of ideas with at least 1 comment or more than '2 want it' votes ? (2 according to me is an optimum no. for deciding if the idea has potential)

- Most popular tags ? (couldn't find the tag cloud on mix)

@Alex: My point was that if you get coverage from an Arrington or Scoble, you'll get traffic. Makes sense to have the beta open to all comers vs. asking them to wait. Maybe it's just me and my short memory.

Some of the CRM guys read here, so they may see your comment. I don't really know much about CRM, though sorry. I think you have to be a customer to use the APIs, pay-for-play.

My advice is join <a href="https://mix.oracle.com rel="nofollow">Mix</a> to reach the CRM teams more directly with your questions.

Jale - thanks for the advice re: beta invites. We opened up our beta a couple of weeks ago as a public beta, so this means if you sign up you'll get in straight away (just needs email verifciation step)...

On Oracle: we're investigating some of the Oracle web APIs that might be available for Bungee devs to program against, especially CRM related stuff...if you have any pointers to hosted versions of Oracle products and over-the-web APIs provided, that would be great.
