Help Populate the AppsLab Event Widget

upcoming.jpgA few months ago, I blogged about the events widget that appears directly under the Archives section in the left-hand column of this blog.

The list of events posted to the Upcoming appslab group is getting a little short, so I went through and posted a bunch more, including Web 2.0 Expo in April, which we may be attending, possibly to present some stuff like Mix. More on that to come.

We use this Upcoming group for a couple purposes. 1) It helps us track events that are interesting and topical to New Web. 2) It lets us broadcast events that we plan to attend. 3) It lets you guys tell us about events and gets them listed in the events widget.

So, join the group and post some events to it. If you have an event on the horizon, add it to Upcoming and post it to the appslab group. If you haven’t used Upcoming, it’s pretty useful for tracking events, especially those that appeal to you and your interests.
