You’ve probably experienced a shower eureka in the past. I certainly have, and in fact, I pondered waterproof methods for jotting notes in the shower to capture ideas before they ran down the drain.
The physiology is the same as the just-before-you-drift-off-to-sleep ideas we all have. Your mind relaxes and becomes unencumbered, allowing thoughts to find their way to the top.
This is why I kept a notepad on the nightstand for years.
