Most interesting to me, given today’s news, is the path of smartphones, whose average price has fallen from $477 to $295 in seven years. I didn’t do a very scientific comparison, but this rate of depreciation seems pretty low, given the demand.
Blu-ray players might be similar, and their average has fallen from $573 to $117.
Maybe I’m just looking for evidence of carrier collusion or something.
