Colored chalks are usually much prettier than dry-erase markers. Also, there’s no such thing as whiteboard paint, and you can turn any wall into a blackboard. I’d say that puts chalkboard over the edge…
Not very serious applications 🙂 Maybe chalkboards are for play and whiteboards are for serious business business.

Just bc chalk is used to create beautiful art, doesn’t mean chalk*boards* are better than whiteboards.
