Pennant Visualizes Mountains of Baseball Data

I’m no longer much of a baseball fan. I guess the strike of 1994-1995 and the fall from grace of my hometown team were the biggest contributing factors.

Even if you can’t tell a baseball from a billiard ball, you’ll love Pennant, an iPad app created by Steve Varga, that visualizes every game played since 1951.

Every single game in its entirety. That’s a mountain of data.

Every baseball game and play since 1951 on your iPad

So you don’t care for baseball, check out the video anyway to see the imaginative ways he uses for depicting the data.

Chet (@oraclenerd) now has another reason to beg for that iPad.
