Colored chalks are usually much prettier than dry-erase markers. Also, there’s no such thing as whiteboard paint, and you can turn any wall into a blackboard. I’d say that puts chalkboard over the edge…

Not very serious applications
Maybe chalkboards are for play and whiteboards are for serious business business.

Just bc chalk is used to create beautiful art, doesn’t mean chalk*boards* are better than whiteboards.
