The 37signals team just released an interesting iPad app that spurred some ideas in Rich’s (@rmanalan) head. More on that in the future.
Introducing Chalk: A fun little browser-based app for iPad inspired by our new office – (37signals)
What I want to know is which wins in a fight, chalk or whiteboard?
Tale of the tape
I’m giving this one to whiteboard by a small margin.
Thoughts on which you prefer, or on that Chalk app? Find the comments.
Colored chalks are usually much prettier than dry-erase markers. Also, there’s no such thing as whiteboard paint, and you can turn any wall into a blackboard. I’d say that puts chalkboard over the edge…
Not very serious applications
Maybe chalkboards are for play and whiteboards are for serious business business.
Try googling “turn wall into whiteboard”
Can’t believe chalk didn’t get a win with all those http://www.moillusions.com/category/3d-sidewalk-drawings-optical-illusions
Now all we need is a device that projects the ipad app onto the street. Call it trebuchet.
Just bc chalk is used to create beautiful art, doesn’t mean chalk*boards* are better than whiteboards.
